摘要

Techniques for obtaining electrode currents of high frequency devices from electro-optical sampling measurements are discussed. The charge density can be determined directly from the measured results. The current distributions as a function of frequency and position can be extracted from experimental data for known circuit configurations by correctly applying Maxwell's continuity equation and this data can be further processed to infer some of the physics of semiconductor devices.
