Cleansing and Dismantling of CEA-Saclay Nuclear Licensed Facilities; PROJECT PERIMETER

This summary presents the cleansing and dismantling operations currently realized at the Saclay center of the "Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique" (French atomic energy commission -CEA-Saclay). A cleansing and dismantling program of the old Nuclear Licensed Facilities (NLF; Nuclear Licensed Facilities, translation of the French appellation: Installation Nucleaire de Base - INB) was initiated in the early 2000s. Currently this program relates to the Hot Laboratories (LHA: Laboratoires de Haute Activite - High Activity Laboratories) and the old workshops of the "Station de Traitement des Effluents Liquides" (STEL -Liquid Waste Treatment Plant).
