Usually CBSD tools such as the Sun BeanBox or Microsoft VB allow the system to run as it is built, immediately rendering its graphical output. This feature is difficult to emulate in a compiled programming environment like Ada, and in any case is less clearly relevant to the Aerospace domain than, say, to the domain of graphical user interfaces.rnOn the other hand, design time visual rendering is a pictorial representation of the interconnections among the components which constitute the application. This view is really a design view of the application design, and it is defined in any kind of system. In Aerospace domains, our emphasis is not on run-time visual rendering, but on design time modelling. For this reason we choose a design notation (UML) to drive the component assembly, placing less emphasis on the possibility to simulate the result of the current status of the system on the fly.
