As part of the small satellite program at the Institute ofrnSpace Systems at the University of Stuttgart, an objectrnoriented flight software was developed. This paper detailsrnaspects encountered during the development and experiencesrngained. It shows that object orientation mightrnbe a valuable tool in the development of future complexrnand autonomous flight software.
