摘要

A two-phase composite with uniformaly distributed inclusions is considered. It is assumed that the inclusions and matrix are elastic, isotropic and are subject to isotropic shirinkage. Effective (homogenised) elastic and shrinkage properties of the composite are determined form known properties of the both components. This is done by two different approaches. The first one is based on the Hashin composite s phere model, and the average material characteristics are presented as algebraic expressions with respect to the components characteristics and the inclusion volme fraction.
