Enteric Coating of Tablets with Debossed Logos

摘要

Robust enteric coatings having reliable andreproducible performance were obtained on biconvex,debossed tablets of varying engraving styleand logo placement. Good logo clarity wasmaintained at up to the 10% enteric coating weightgain studied. These results suggest thatappropriate selection of tablet shape can enabledebossing as a method of identification, resulting inprocessing cost savings from elimination of theprinting operation.
