Effect of Drug Content on Progesterone Release from Poly(Lactic-co-Glycolic Acid) Microspheres

The progesterone-containing poly(lactic-coglycolicacid) (PLGA) microspheres were preparedand the microspheres exhibit a normal or Gaussiansize distrtibution. Drug content of the microsphereshas an effect on progesterone release fromPLGA microspheres. Higher drug content in microspheresleads to a quicker initial burst release of thedrug.
