摘要

Due to a structural inhomogenity weld joints and heat affected zones represent a weak locations in boiler tube systems. Strength and time reduction factors, representing a ratio between creep strength and/or life-time of weld and base material, are used for quantitative expression of this effect. Aim of the contribution is to evaluate dependence of these factors on creep condition by a phenomenological model. The model is based on data from long term creep tests of 2.25Cr-1Mo steel tube base material and circumferential welds.
