SOME ADVICES FOR ENHANCING THE QUALITY OF ENGINEERING PRACTICE IN INSTITUTIONS OF HIGHER EDUCATION BASED ON THE TOTAL QUALITY MANAGEMENT

In this paper, a series of teaching quality assurance systems and implementation measures, such as the Teaching Operation System of Quality Assurance, the Teaching Reform System, the Teaching Quality Assurance System, and the Quality Control System of student's workpieces are established based on the concepts and methods of the Total Quality Management. The result shows that the introduction of the Total Quality Management in engineering training of institutions of higher education centering on teaching quality and product processing quality, through the full participation of teachers and students, could create a quality culture for teachers and students, and effectively realize the teaching plans and teaching objectives, and achieve the purpose of student satisfaction. Students experience the advanced enterprise management concepts and enhance their sense of quality and occupational knowledge through the entire process to participate in quality management.
