This paper documents the participation fo the University of Washington (UW) in creating "Shared Vision Models" for evaluating water management alternatives in the Alabama-Cooas-Tallapooas/Apalachicola-Chattahoochee-Flint River (ACT-ACF) baisins.A brief introoduction to th study is followed by a discussion of the history o water resouces modeling.A summary of the water resouces issues faced by the modeling team is presented with the strategy used in model devleopment.The development and evolution of a series of models,denoted as the Mock Models,the Water Balance Models,the Performance Trial Models,and the Track-Two Modles,are briefly descried.Final ocmments are then provided as a cummary.
