To monitor or destroy the angiogenic vesselsrnsurrounding the tumor tissue, self-assembledrnnanoparticles based on hydrophobically modifiedrnglycol chitosan (HGC) were investigated as a carrierrnof Arg-Gly-Asp (RGD) peptide. The resultingrnnanoparticles imbibing RGD peptide showed arnpotential for targeting endothelial cells in angiogenicrnvessels.
