Targeted Doxorubicin Delivery to Brain System Through The Transferrin Coupled Liposomes

A transferrin-coupled liposomal system for brainrndelivery of doxorubicin was developed forrneffective management of the brain tumor. Theyrnwere characterized for vesicle size and in vitrorndrug release. Moreover, the brain uptake wasrnassessed quantitatively using fluorescencernmicroscopy and biodistribution of the drug wasrndetermined using gamma scintillation technique.
