CUSTOMER-DRIVEN PRODUCT FAMILY DESIGN THROUGH DYNAMIC QUALITY FUNCTION DEPLOYMENT

Product family design is the key research category forrnDFMC (Design for Mass Customization). Then methodrngiven by this paper uses the dynamic quality functionrndeployment(DQFD), which bring the voice of the customerrninto the product development process, to achieve customerdrivenrnproduct family design. On the basis of dynamicrncustomer requirements analyzing and application of DQFDrnmethod, this paper puts forward one method for customerdrivenrnproduct family methodology. This method derives thernconcept of multi-purpose constraints optimize designrnmethodology aimed to resolve the actuality of lackingrnanalysis for dynamic customer requirements and uses DQFDrnmethod to achieve corresponding for customerrnrequirements. This method also integrally consider therncommonality and diversity to derive modular productrnfamily architecture. The application of this method can bearrnto attain the flexibility of product family design and supportrnthe dynamic customer requirements.
