摘要

This paper presents the applciation of the slid state ionic material as electrolyte to chemical sensors. Solid-state gas potential sensors based on four types of ionic conductors and their general principle, structure and perfomrance are introduced for detecting O_2, H_2 and C_2H_4 at room temperature, attention is focused on the selection of electrolyte and catalytic electrode and the preparation method of composite electrodes. The experiments showed that these sensor characteristics depend on the catalytic activity of electrode material used, electrolyte properties nad the preparation method of composite electrode assemblies. The kinetics of oxygen reduction was also discussed.
