Bag packaging systems are quite complex. There is a broad range of products, product characteristics, package styles, packaging rates, equipment options, capital costs, and operating costs which require analysis for each bag packaging project. Often these factors are not fully considered, which can result in a costly system which fails to meet project objectives. The following is a checklist of factors to be considered. Obviously, each of these factors can be expanded depending on the project, but all need to be considered for each project.
