摘要

Determination of total additive concentration in masterbatches is critical to quality control and analysis of masterbatches. Procedures to do this can be time consuming if the additives must be analyzed for sequentially. While there are industry standards to determine ash content and certain other organic pigments e.g. carbon black, there are no published methods that can be used to estimate the total pigmenl and additive levels in certain masterbatches in a single step. This paper presents a simple method to determine additive concentration in crystalline thermoplastics using Differential Scanning Calorimetry.
