An investigation of optical beam self-focusing using an adaptive wavelet transform

In this paper we investigate the problem of optical beam self-focusing and singularity formation in the higher-order NLS Equation through the use of an adaptive wavelet transform technique. The method can be applied to any order of nonlinearity.
