The subject of the analysis and examination is the structure and utilitarian properties of thin ceramic layers placed on the nickel base heat-resistant alloy by plasma spraying method, which later on underwent laser remelting. Examined materials consisting of outer coating ZrO_2+8%wt.Y_2O_3 and NiCrAlY layer are to be used as thermal barriers and protection against high temperature corrosion of heat-resisting alloy on nickel base, applied on internal combustion turbine blades and other construction elements working under stress in high temperature conditions.
