Total Perspective on Hygienic Coatings for Tropical Countries

The need for seamless monolithic flooring in pharmaceutical plants, or personal care products manufacturing halls, or food processing industry and similar manufacturing units is well understood. Such floorings in epoxy compounds, either as high build mortar concrete (epicrete) or built by multiple layers of coating, or in epoxy polyurethane system, are commonly used. The problems faced in maintaining such flooring, both aesthetically and functionally, are often discussed and multiple convenient solutions are constantly being made available. There are well-set maintenance practices at most of these places. For making such surfaces, technical tools are available to ensure that the floor is rightly built. Properly leveled surface offers the least chances for accumulation of dust and prevents deterioration; epicrete floor is built using such modern tools. Good drainage systems are special features of such floors. In short, "hygienic floors" is an adequately covered topic over the past several years.
