摘要

In this paper,the mechanisms of Mn(Ⅱ) oxidation by Arthrobacter echigonensis MN1405 were studied.The results showed that A.echigonensis MN1405 would produce Mn(Ⅱ)-oxidizing factor and alkaline material during growth,the Mn(Ⅱ)-oxidizing factor was synthesized in the cell and then secreted to cell surface and extracellular culture medium.Though it was not necessary for Mn(Ⅱ) to induce the production of Mn(Ⅱ)-oxidizing factor by Mn1405,adding of Mn(Ⅱ) into medium could increase the output of activity factor.The Mn(Ⅱ)-oxidizing factor produced by MN1405 was insensitive to diverse enzyme inhibitors.XPS and FTIR analysis identified that the component of the biogenic maganese oxides,produced by the MN1405,is MnOOH.
