摘要

This paper deals with the magnetizing system for magnetizing a large rotor with surface-mounted NdFeB permanent magnets using the capacitor discharge. In this study, magnetizing-fixture is designed by analytical calculation of the magnetic circuit, and also characteristics of magnetizing system are simulated by a transient finite element method. Finally, magnetizing experiment is done using a 30mF, 1815kJ capacitor bank. As a result, this work has fully magnetized a large rotor with NdFeB permanent magnets.
