A conception of using decision diagrams as a theoreticalrntool for diagnostic modeling of digital systems and anrnenvironment consisting of web-based applets and of arndownloadable set of tools for hands-on training in thernfield of test is presented. The training consists of twornparts: interactive learning of basic problems by usingrnweb-based interactive learning modules, and laboratoryrnresearch based learning of advanced problems by usingrnlow-cost diagnostic tools. The described conception andrntool environment allow to improve theoretical backgroundrnand skills of students to be educated for electronics andrnsystem-on-chip design in test related topics.
