摘要

A synthetic method, based on an iterative jumping search algorithm, for designing a low-loss normal-incidence wideband antireflection (AR) coating is proposed. The design algorithm is very straightforward and the resultant wideband AR performance is fairly good. The mean residual reflectances of the iterative jumping search AR coating designs for the 400-750 nm visible region and for the 800-1600 nm near infrared region, using a two-material multi layer system, can be reduced to under 0.036 and 0.064%, respectively. Not only are the wideband AR performances of these normal-incidence AR coating designs favorable, but they also reveal a certain degree of acceptable wide-angle wideband antireflective effect for incident angles below 30¢.
