摘要

This paper investigates the magnetic field property in a flux concentration claw pole/transverse flux motor with soft magnetic composite core by using finite element analysis. It is found that the magnetic field loci in the iron core of the motor are really complicated when the rotor rotates, e.g. one-dimensional alternating without or with harmonics, rotational circularly or elliptically in a two-dimensional plane, or along a loop in three-dimensional space. The various patterns of magnetic field have very different effect on the motor performance such as the core losses and should be considered in the motor design.
