Distributed Coordination Function (DCF) in IEEE 802.11rnWLANs cannot guarantee per-station TCP fairness amongrnwireless stations. In order to satisfy users, and guaranteernto allocate fair bandwidth among wireless users regardlessrnof the number and direction of flows, the WeightedrnWindow method is proposed. This method can be simplyrnimplemented in mobile stations without having to modifyrnthe MAC layer. In this paper, the proposed method and itsrnproperties will be presented in detail using ns2 simulationrntool under various network conditions. The simulationrnresults are shown that the proposed method achieves fairrnthroughput among stations as compared with previousrnmethods.
