After various method tests, material studies and component development Nextrom developed a fully automatic, reliable and economical way of joining the fiber in the tight buffering process, regardless of the process speed. The method is suited for making the joint both in the present and in higher process speeds. Other significant advantages of the system are an even quality, zero length of scrap fiber as well as an jointing process that is independent from the operator. These factors multiply the benefits of the jointing method.
