CONSTRUCTION OF SOPHISTICATED ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROLED 600MWPULVERIZED COAL FIRED TOWER BOILER FOR URBAN POWER STATION

摘要

Replacement project of J-Power's Isogo Thermal Power Station, Yokohama Japan, hasrnbeen carried out. As the first step of the project, construction of 600MW coal fired plant had been carried outrnunder operation of existing 265MW×2 units to be replaced. To adopt limited site area condition, IHI'srntower-type boiler is applied because its compact layout and suitable erection procedure conform to thernreplacement condition. By IHI's Low Nox Combustion technology, the highest steam condition in Japan andrndry-type desulfurization system using activated char, this unit contributes to reduce emission and increasernpower, showing a new solution for replacing urban power station.
