Gradient in vivo control operating in conjunction with boundary control on the cell membrane are shown to render control upon an unstable metastasizing cell described by a nonlinear parabolic distributed system stabilized and bring it under complete control. Similarly, time-rate in vivo control operations are shown to render an unstable nonlinear distributed syslem in a semi-infinite medium completely controllable. Such control functions in a biological cell are shown to play a vital role in the control of a malignant tumor in a living organism. Application of this new type of mathematical models in clinical oncology will shed new insight into cellular control mechanism in an in vivo biological cell and provide a new clinical tool to cancer management.
