A particle accelerometer sensor was proposed to measure the transient dynamic behavior of a bubbling or turbulent fluidized bed. Analysis of the output signal of the prototype sensor can offer not only the bubbling-turbulent transition velocity u_c but also the dynamic features of the bubble and the emulsion phase.
