摘要

Novel porous hollow silica nanoparticles (PHSNs) were successfully synthesized by using inexpensive CaCO_3 templates. The as-synthesized PHSNs were then adopted to encapsulate avermectin through a simple immersing method. The experimental results indicated that the active substances could be entrapped in PHSNs efficiently with a high loading capacity of 58.3%, and demonstrated a typical sustained release pattern from the carriers. In addition, PHSNs showed a remarkable UV shielding ability for the entrapped substances.
