(1) The relationship between the character of distorted waves and the heating augmentation shows that the more and longer the distorted waves, the higher the heating augmentation. (2) The character of distorted wave depends mainly on the number density and momentum of rebounded particle. The former is related to the mass rate of incoming particle, the latter to the particle velocity, size and density. (3) The structure of shock distortion and oscillation caused by rebounding or sputtering particle is very similar to the flow field ahead of the spiked body in clean flow, both have unsteady conical wave and separation region, but the differences are: the former has several conical waves and separation areas with unsteady random oscillation, the latter has only one conical wave and separation area with back and forth symmetric oscillation. (4) The unstable high speed oscillation of conical wave caused by particle/shock interaction results in the fact that the reattachment regions existed on the body face everywhere, viz. causes the reattachment heat flux to the body surface continuously.
