摘要

Fe-base shape memory alloy (Fe-SMA) is a new type of metal-functioanl materials. Using the joints of this material to conenct pipelines will bring much great benefit in both economics and society as well as make the operation easy inthe process of lying pipes. This kind of joint is being researched in oru Country. The determination o focntact pressure between the Fe-SMA joint and the conencted pipe in the joints's invese phase change process is very importnat in research. In this paper, a new method was proposed to determine this contact pressure which combines both experieme and limit elemnet analysis . This new method is called hybrid iteration method and its accuracy is found by emulation experiement.
