Survival of Chinese Ferroalloy Industry and Development of Energy Industry

Energy industry is the fundamental of the national economy. It is also the fundamental of the existence of ferroalloy industry. Before 90's the d ifference of power supply and demand for industry was so great that the development of ferroalloy industry was restricted. The power supply was distributed according to the annual state d evelopment plan by the state authorities. The supply of ferroalloys was tense as well. WIth the development of the state economy, the tense situation of power supply has been relived. Subsequently, it promoted the d evelopment of ferroalloy industry to great extent. Figure 1 shows the development trend of major metallurgical products in China in recent years.
