A synthetic ramming mass of MgO-CaO-Fe_2O_3 system used in bottom of EAF for LC FeCr produced has been studied by means of SEM, EDAX and XRD. The mecchanism of wear of bottom may be classified into several ways that periclase dissolves in liquid of MgO-CaO-Al_2O_3-SiO_2 system and evaporates by redox reaction of MgO chemical bounds Mg(g) + 1/2 O_2(g) and the C_2S transform from beta -type into delta -one during the bottom was cooled to a temperature intervals of 500-400 deg C and so tha C_2S layer will be powered.
