摘要

The coupling analysis by the method of nonlinear adapted Granger causality of time series generated by the model of absence epilepsy was performed. In this case, the analyzed signals represent the total activity of a large number of directly connected neurons which are corresponded to a single structure. The results show that the method is able to determine the increase in coupling in terms of increasing the contribution of one population of neurons to the dynamics of another, but not in the sense of changing the magnitude of the coupling coefficients.
