This paper focuses on the micro area and trace content nondestructive analysis method of individual fluid inclusion by synchrotron radiation X-ray fluorescence (SRXRF) microprobe at BSRF (Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility). The experimental instrument, measurement process, and calculating method are introduced. With the standard sample such as NIST612 as reference, the detection limit of some elements are calculated and the typical fluid inclusion taken from the western basin of China which contains oil gas is analyzed nondestructively. The element content in the fluid inclusion and their distribution will guide oil & gas exploration and exploitation, and provide valuable information for other research.
