摘要

Track plotter that replaced the manual chart plotter operation and increased automation and information degree of ships. This paper explained the mapping process of track plotter and the algorithm of charts coordinates projection, then analyzed a theoretical error about the conversion process of charts coordinates, and the simulation experiments has been carried on, the subsection plotting methods was presented. Thus, the improvement of software algorithms can improve the accuracy of the track plotting operations.
