Analysis of losses on distribution transformers applied to supply energy to rural consumers

In order to improve the performance of the eletrical system, the eletricity distributors seek to reduce the energy losses in their electric grid. Inside of the energy transformation process, energy losses can be minimized by appropriate transformer equipament dimensioning. The objective of this paper is to perform an analysis in the dimensioning of transformer to supply energy on low voltage rural consumers. Comparing technical feasibility of the relation of the demand to be supply with the energy losses generated by the transformer equipament.
