Effect of Overfeeding on the Transcriptional Expression of aP2 Gene in Landes Goose liver

The purpose of this experiment was to determine the effects of overfeeding on hepatic fat deposition at lipogenic genes expression. Overfeeding had effects on the body weight, liver weight, abdominal adipose weight and liver/body weight compared to control. In contrast, the dietary treatment had markedly difference in ALT, TG and H-cholesterol. In liver, the expression of aP2 mRNA was higher in geese overfeeding than that of control group (P<0.01). The correlation coefficient of aP2 transcriptional level in liver and liver/body weight was 0.598(P<0.05). There were significant correlations between Che and liver expression of aP2. The genetic regulatory pathway may contribute directly or indirectly to the forming of landes geese fore gras mainly on the phase of preadipocyte differentiation into adipocytes. However, factors influenced the forming of landes geese fat livers by consumption of a high carbohydrate diet were more.
