Abstract: In the present paper a miniaturized ion mobility spectrometer is presented which consists of a miniature ionization detector in combination with a simple ion drift arrangement. By means of this low cost system it is possible to determine a large number of organic compounds. The system is suitable for process control and monitoring of air pollution. !3
