THE INFLUENCE OF IODID IONS ON THE PROPERTIES OF TABULAR MICROCRYSTALS

Conditions in which are determined at carrying out of synthesis tabular microcrystals of heterocontact type AgBr_xI_(1-x)/AgBr_(0.96)I_(0.04), with Cv not exceeding 25% turn out. Process of a chemical sensitization of the mentioned above systems is investigated. Influence of concentration of the iodide ion in the core on the photographic properties of resulting tabular microcrystals is investigated. It is established that presence of the iodate ion at core crystals results in displacement of a maximum of a photosensitivity aside smaller time of carrying out of a chemical sensitization. At the 2 mol.% concentration the iodate ion it makes 60 minutes, at 4 mol.% - 75min., at 6 mol.% -150min. It is shown, that the increase in concentration of an iodate ion in tabular microcrystals such as AgBr_xI_(1-x)/AgBr_(0.96)I_(0.04) results in decrease in the maximal optical density of photolayers on their basis. And with increase in concentration the iodate ion in a core a difference between the maximal optical density in core emulsions and systems the "core - shell" decreased.
