摘要

A few types of etherified phenolic resin based on Poly p-hydroxy styrene (PHS) and novolac resin with high acidolysis activity were synthesized. We investigated the effects of molecular weight, solvent and catalyst on the reaction and found a more effective method to increase the speed and conversion percentage of such etherification reactions.
