ANALYSIS ON RADIONUCLIDE TRANSPORT IN A REPOSITORY WITH MULTIPLE CANISTERS

Effects of canister multiplicity have been investigatedrnby establishing a model for radionuclide transport in thernrepository by compartmentalization. Canister multiplicityrnhas significant effect on the long-lived radionuclidernconcentration in the water leaving the repository. It hasrnbeen found that the concentration increases as morerncanisters are included, but becomes independent of thernnumber of canisters for sufficiently many canisters.
