Corrosion of HLW glass, spent UO_2 fuel and cemented radioactive waste in salt brines have been studied using a combination of experiments and geochemical modeling. The results demonstrate that radionuclide mobilization and development of the geochemical milieu depend on both the waste form and on the brine composition. For the considered waste forms and solutions, the results of model calculations revealed mainly a good agreement with experimental findings.
