As we move into a purely digital environment, we need to assess our current utilization ofrntoday’s technology. Today’s technology comes with some risk. In the computerrnenvironment technology is changing every 18 months. So, today’s solutions may not bernthe solutions for tomorrow. Implementing Digital Imagery in UAV Systems requires notrnonly that crystal ball needed to glimpse where technology is going but also to detect therndesign hurtles during implementation.rnThe aim of this paper is to address the methodology and design considerationsrnneeded to implement digital imagery systems within UAV architectures. How doesrndigital imagery implementation affected by the Joint Technical Architecture (JTA) orrnSTANAG standards? In the implementation of Digital Imagery, are their considerationsrnin data link design, latency, interfaces, storage, data manipulation and display?
