The MIT Entry into the 1998 AUVS International Aerial Robotics Competition

摘要

The Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Aerial Robotics Club developed an autonomous flight vehicle capable of performing search and rescue duties in a disaster zone in accordance with the rules and regulations specified for the 1998 AUVS International Aerial Robotics Competition based on a "Bergen Industrial Heli" airframe. This paper describes the team approach used to create this vehicle, the systems architecture and subsystem design employed in the process, and the performance capabilities of this intelligent autonomous system.
