The Properties and Usage Research of Enhanced ICDP Work Rolls Made by Local Roll Maker for Hot Rolling Mill

摘要

The comparison of the microstructure and performance of rolls from different makers gives us hints on how to make enhanced ICDP rolls locally. Adding the lanthanide and carbide-forming elements, the cast roll sample rings for research have been made, also the wear resistance has been tested. The different types of matrix, carbide and graphite from roll surface to core have been showed. According to the performance, it is can easily be summarized that the enhanced ICDP rolls must have both the good wear resistance .and accident resistance, which means, it must has the better integrated properties than the standard one.
