A FRAMEWORK FOR WEB-BASEDORGANIZATIONAL DECISION SUPPORT

摘要

Organizational decision-making is a complicated process with multiple stages and multiple groups of decision-rnmakers. Different types of technology have been applied to facilitate the process and make it feasible at anyrntime and any place. Nowadays, the Web technology provides a good infrastructure for this purpose. This paperrnpresents a framework for Web-based organizational decision support. The framework consists of a conceptualrnmodel and the corresponding software architecture for support systems. It is then applied to the implementationrnof an organizational decision support system for Research and Development (R&D) project selection, whichrnis one of the most important tasks for organizations with R&D project management.
