Modern channel exchange relationships are substantially mediated by the deployment of informationrntechnology resources in support of virtual organizational forms, and the supply chain partnership practicernknown as agile supply chain management has evolved into a technological relationship between channelrnpartners. The technologically facilitated virtual integration of partner firms requires high degrees of trust andrnintimacy between partners, since the technological linkages that facilitate the relationship are extensive andrnrich. A framework is developed to describe the development of trust in the use of shared information resourcesrnin such virtual organization relationships.
