摘要

The active thermographic approach allows for both qualitative and quantitative kinds of evaluation. Among the main kinds of active thermography are vibrational thermography, induction thermography, pulsed thermography, lock-in thermography, and pulse phase thermography and their derivatives and modifications. The non-contactiveness of such methods makes them very attractive for the purposes of nondestructive studies, in particular, for art objects. This presentation with method descriptions will provide a few examples from art study.
